Garage Door Spring Replacement should only be replaced and/or installed by an experienced professional garage door installer in your area. Never adjust any garage door spring or any other moving garage door part. We do offer hardware kits or hardware sets with custom designed handles, authentic ornamental hinges in 6", 8", 10", 12", 16", 24" and 30" length along with decorative clavos or door studs, door knockers, ring pulls, non-working Iron handle sets, angled hinges and corner hinge brackets in a wide range of custom colors. Colors include copper, dark earth, gold and silver on many styles of hardware for minimal cost. All of our hardware is sold with screws with powdered coated heads to match the hardware.
Our new conifer style ring door knockers, mountain pull or lift handles and strap hinges for all carriage house overhead garage doors, entry doors, barns or yard sheds are designed with a North Woods feel. Hardware sold on this site cannot be used as replacement parts as our hardware is for non-moving decorative use only. Hardware should work on any standard or custom wood garage, entry door, PVC, fiberglass, metal or steel garage door and carriage house garage doors of any sizes or heights provided hardware clears openings, also know as headroom and used for decorative use only. If your not sure if our hardware will work on your door, please email us or contact your local garage door installer before purchasing. Most sectional garage doors in either wood or steel are designed to move away from the door opening as the door is risen. Typically, you will have up to 3-3/4" of space.

Again, all hardware is for decorative use only. Handle sets are non-working and should not be used on entry doors, boat house doors, sheds, storage sheds and yard barns or traditional barns requiring a working latch and locking system or doors requiring security locking mechanism. Our decorative hardware is compatible with most retail overhead garage doors or carriage house garage doors including Clopay, Crawford, CHI Doors, Designer Doors, Raynor, Overhead, Gadco, Holmes, Ideal Door, Martin Door, Wayne Dalton, Amarr, Ace Hardware, Lowes, Menards and Home Depot garage doors. Please check with your local merchant where your door was purchased to confirm and inquire about any special positioning that is required for adding decorative hardware. As with any item not sold originally with your door, adding hardware to your doors exterior may void your door warranty and could require door adjustments. Please check with the installer of your garage door or contact your local door installer if you have any concerns or cannot locate the original installer before purchasing.
Remember, the torsion or extention garage door springs lift the weight of the door, not the electric garage door opener. Our Do-it-yourself-garage door hinges, parts and handles are easy to install as all hardware is shipped with powdered coated fasteners and install tips are either supplied in your shipping box or available on our site menu under, "How to Install Hardware" if your order shipped directly from our vendor. Handles and hinges can also be added to Artisan, Door Link, CHI, Martin, General and Overhead brand wood or steel garage doors. Many Garage Door Hardware Kits are available up to six custom colors which are subject to change without notice. All custom colors and special order products are non-returnable.
We do offer magnetic style strap hinges and door handles which require no drilling or screwing any fasteners into the face of your door. The overall thickness is 1/16" and solid rubber, very simular to a magnet you would find on a refrigerator. Another option in the magnetic field is our new magnetic house numbers in either black or bright brass finish. All you do is to select your address number and when received, aplly them to your steel garage door, steel siding or steel entry door.
For sealing the space between your garage door bottom and concrete garage floor, we offer the Storm Shield Garage Door Threshold Weather Seal or floor weatherstripping kits that are supplied with adhesive. It is reccomended to only install the weather floor seals if the temperature is over 55 degrees for at least twenty four hours for the adhesive to cure. This does not waterproof your garage but actually acts as a seal to help contain mositure and yard materials such as leaves.
As mentioned before, we do not sell replacement torsion or extension springs for garage doors, lift cables, garage door track, steel or nylon garage door rollers, top or bottom fixtures. We do not publish a phone number as it is impossible for us to answer any calls at our jobs due to traveling commitments. Hopefully our business will grow so it will support a 800 phone number. We do not take credit cards over the phone or via emails. We use Paypal as our bank which protects both you and I against fraud and provides for a smooth transaction.
All hardware is sold with fasteners and ships either USPS Mail or UPS if it is a special order. Lead-times can run up to 4-5 weeks on special order items with or without custom colors as orders are powdered coated when the order is recieved by our vendor and typically not in stock. We do not ship weekends, holidays or overnight and not if we are on a family vacation.
